这篇论文准备由三个参数确定中国铁路桥和公路桥之间的活荷载以及偏转特征概念比较,即活荷载的相等的密度,容许挠度以及刚度指数。

1. Introduction

Up to date, the concepts of bridge structures have become a large family, which consists of various family members served for automobiles, trains or bullet trains, pedestrians, transport tubes, and so on. Each type of bridges appears different shape and magnitude. Highway bridges are more slender and lighter than railway bridges, while high-speed railway bridges have some differences to ordinarily speed railway bridges. Besides different safety requirements for various projects of different significance, main factors governing the shape and magnitude of bridges could be mainly specified as live loads and allowable deflections provided in an appropriate code.

This paper intends to make the conceptual comparison of live loads and deflection features between railway bridges and highway bridges in China with three parameters, equivalent densities of live loads, allowable deflections and stiffness indexes.
